To be qualified for the Parent and Grandparent Program, both the sponsor and the person(s) being supported must have met specific qualification prerequisites.
Sponsors must:- be either a Canadian resident or an permanent inhabitant of Canada;
- meet specific pay necessities (see beneath); and
- support the supported person(s) and their dependents monetarily.
The sponsors and the supported person(s) should consent to a sponsorship arrangement that:
